Before the visit, strip the beds and wash all linen and clothing from affected rooms on a hot wash, then dry on high heat and seal in clean bags. Vacuum the mattresses and floors and empty the vacuum outside. Try not to move items between rooms, as this can spread bed bugs further. Hold off on throwing out the mattress until the crew has had a look.
